I do love your magazine!

 

Marsha Enright’s retrospective on James Clavell in the May issue—fascinating. Roger Donway’s “The Lengthened Shadow of a Businessman” provides needed guidance for entrepreneurs and executives—and their investors. Mr. Donway should be given the opportunity to pursue this idea further. I also hope that you’ll find more space in your magazine for articles on economic trends.

 

You’re producing an intelligent magazine, and I hope to see TNI on newsstands very soon.

Al Gore is really Al Bore! (“The Gospel According To Al,” Robert James Bidinotto, May). Did anyone notice that every time Gore traveled to his speaking engagements for An Inconvenient Truth, he was always seen exiting a limo or taxi? Why couldn’t he set an example to promote a cleaner environment by his individual actions? Is riding mass transit, as millions of other urban residents do daily, beneath his dignity? How about riding an alternative-fuel vehicle?

 

Too bad we can’t harness the power of Al Gore’s hot air after every speech.
